New website for new Galant

One Galant, one website

In 2022, Volunteer Center Galant, Mooi zo Goed zo and VrijwilligersAcademie073 merged under the name Galant. We developed a new customized website to make the services of the new Galant even easier to find for volunteers, organizations and entrepreneurs. We merged the three separate websites into one umbrella website in Umbraco 10, we adjusted the design of the homepage and expanded the website with additional functionalities. All information about 'doing good' in Den Bosch can now be found in one place. Galant's website has not only been technically updated, but has also been given a new corporate identity (developed by an external agency).

From now on, customers enter through one door

We are proud of the end result and - more importantly - so is our customer. “We are very happy with the new environment,” says Tamara de Jong, advisor at Galant, enthusiastically. “The old website also worked well, but after merging our projects and services, our main wish was to also do this online,” Tamara explains. “Isn't it crazy to keep three brand names in the air for the same target groups!? From now on, customers enter through one door. Very efficient.”

'Umbraco is so easy'

As a recognized Umbraco partner, we built Galant's new website, just like the old one, in Umbraco. “My colleague Kaat from the volunteer academy, who first worked with WordPress, has now been working with Umbraco for a number of weeks and is completely convinced,” says Tamara. Both administrators experience the Umbraco CMS as easy and intuitive. And we completely agree with that!

Vacancy bank Galant

Now that Galant's new customized website is up and running, we are continuing to work on optimizing the vacancy bank, which is still online in the old style. Galant's job board will soon also have a new look and you can look for volunteer work in the Den Bosch region in the new “fresh, clean” style.
